Quite a lot. Every lease covers maintenance, servicing, road tax, breakdown cover, and free UK-wide delivery and collection. You add two things: insurance and fuel — and a call to us when the car says a service is due, so we can book it. One monthly price, quoted excluding VAT, no surprise bills — like a phone contract, for a car.

Who books the servicing on a short term car lease?

We do, and we pay for it — but you tell us when it’s due. When the dashboard starts counting down to a service, ring us and we’ll book it at an approved service centre. We can’t see your mileage from here, and a missed service costs you the warranty.

Is insurance included in a Drive Subscribe short term car lease?

No — and that’s on purpose. A one-size policy would cost you more than sorting your own. You take out your own comprehensive cover, then cancel it when you hand the car back. We’ll tell you exactly what you need before delivery.

What credit checks are involved in a short term car lease?

A standard credit and identity check, the same as any lease or finance agreement. Our underwriters run it once you’ve applied and come back fast — usually the same day. We’ll always tell you where you stand.

Can I extend or change car during a short term car lease?

Yes — you can extend or change car during a short term lease. Need the car longer? Extend in a couple of clicks. Circumstances changed and you want something different? Talk to us — swapping is built into how a flexible car lease works.
